Overview

Our Talent Management Department is adding to the team in 2025! We are looking for a detail-oriented, checklist loving, self-motivated, professional, and communicative individual. This role is ideal for a new graduate or entry-level professional who is customer service oriented and interested in expanding their knowledge of human resources and the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

The Talent Management Specialist owns the new team member orientation experience. This role will ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process by coordinating all required pre-employment screenings, gathering required healthcare professional credentialling documentation, and communicating with other internal support teams to provide system access, equipment, materials, and assign required compliance trainings. Acting in support of the Talent Management Group, the TMS will also perform talent acquisition tasks for administrative/non-clinical openings. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all new team members. 
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure that all essential onboarding items including compliance and credentialling items are completed timely and/or prior to the start of patient care.  
  • Develop open and trusting relationships with all onboarding new hires.  
  • Perform appropriate follow up for all time sensitive tasks through clear communication with all parties.  
  • Maintain the integrity of new team member files, ensuring readiness for both internal and external audit. 
  • Process team member data in the organization’s HRIS. 
  • Perform entry-level talent acquisition tasks to include job advertisement placement, phone screening of candidates, and coordination of interviewing schedules for administrative leadership. 
  • Maintain the integrity of candidate data in the organization’s Applicant Tracking System. 
  • Assign learning tasks via the organization’s learning management system. 
  • Recommend new approaches and ideas for continual improvements in efficiencies and services. 
  • Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Other Qualifications and Skills 

  • Exceptional customer service skills; especially in relation to internal team members. 
  • Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and adherence to multiple deadlines. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with multiple departments.  
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • High ethical and moral standards. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). 
  • Prior experience with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred. 
  • Prior experience with HRIS preferred. 

Education and Work Experience Requirements 

  • Six (6) months prior business experience. 
  • Prior recruiting, onboarding or HR experience preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources,  or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education may satisfy the educational requirement.
