We’re excited to welcome a Payment Processor to our amazing team at KidsCare Home Health! If you're detail-oriented, organized, and love keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this is the role for you. In this position, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments for home health services across a variety of payer sources.
What You’ll Do:
Apply and reconcile incoming payments using multiple systems
Review and understand payer documents and payment explanations
Process claims, resolve rejections, and distribute balances to secondary/tertiary payers
Research missing documents and apply manual and electronic payments
Keep accounts accurate and up to date with daily reconciliation
Support Medicaid eligibility checks and notify families and providers as needed
Collaborate with other departments and provide top-notch customer service
Communicate payment issues or patterns to leadership
Tackle special projects and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills – What We’re Looking For:
We're looking for someone who’s not only great with numbers but also brings a positive, can-do attitude to the team! The ideal candidate will have:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
A knack for learning quickly and picking up new systems
Top-tier customer service skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
A commitment to high ethical standards and professionalism
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
1+ year of experience with reconciliation or balancing preferred
Medical billing experience is a big plus and will be prioritized
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Standard office environment with moderate noise (phones, printers, etc.)
Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods
Occasional light to moderate lifting may be required
